As a job nears completion, JRCO Field automatically offers closeout quality checklists to superintendents and foremen. These are scored inspections — not optional paper forms — and they feed the QC dashboard your PM and leadership team uses at punch and warranty handoff.
| Checklist | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Closeout Pre-Final Walk QC | Internal readiness before manufacturer / owner walk — punch list compiled, deficiencies closed, roof swept. |
| Closeout Final QC + Warranty | Final surface/seam/drainage inspection, manufacturer sign-off, warranty registration, owner walk-through. |
You complete Pre-Final Walk first, then Final QC + Warranty unlocks.
Checklists are queued automatically when the job’s % Complete reaches 95% or higher (from the job KPI bar at the top of the Field tab). You do not need your PM to manually “turn on” each job.
Closeout checklists use the standard blue banner (same as Daily QC and other job inspections). They appear in two places so you can start from whichever tab you use most.
Scroll to the inspections section on the Production / Field tab. Blue buttons stack below Weekly Safety (when shown).
Open Forms → section Job Checklists at the top. Same blue banners — mandated checklists only, not incident/violation forms.
Example banner (tap to open checklist):
Blue banners follow the same rules on the Field tab and under Forms → Job Checklists.
| Situation | Banner |
|---|---|
| Checklist due today | Shown — “Inspection due today” |
| Draft in progress (started today, not submitted) | Shown — “Draft in progress” |
| Submitted complete, next due date in the future | Hidden until due again |
| Draft from a previous day (not submitted) | Hidden — only today’s draft shows |
| Job under 95% complete (closeout only) | Closeout banners not queued yet |
PM + foreman walk the roof. Confirm work areas are substantially complete, Layer 2 deficiencies are closed, roof is swept, and punch list is compiled.
After Pre-Final is submitted, complete final pass/fail items on surface, seams, flashings, drains, manufacturer inspection, warranty registration, and owner sign-off.
The Forms tab has two different sections. Do not confuse them.
| Section | Look | Use for |
|---|---|---|
| Job Checklists | Blue banner | Mandated QC & closeout inspections (scored, scheduled) |
| Submit a Form | White/gray tile cards | Voluntary safety reports: Incident, Violation, Good Catch |
| Weekly Safety | Red banner | Field tab only — weekly safety inspection (not under Forms) |
I finished Pre-Final but Final QC didn’t show.
Make sure Pre-Final was submitted (not just saved as draft). Reopen the job or switch to the Forms tab to refresh Job Checklists.
The banner disappeared after I submitted.
That is expected. Completed checklists hide until the next due date. Closeout is usually a one-time requirement per job.
I also see General Contractor Check In, Daily QC, or Federal QC.
Those are separate templates. Each blue banner is independent — complete only what shows as due or draft for today. Federal QC is only offered when your PM has deployed it and marked the job as federal.
PM wants to turn off a checklist on my job.
That is done in Safety Admin (template status, schedule row, or federal flag) — not from the field app. See Admin Help → Deploy & Suppress.
Who can see my jobs?
My Jobs lists projects where you are assigned as superintendent, foreman, PM, or PEx. If a closeout job is missing, ask your PM to confirm your roster assignment.
